Specialty Adhesive Case Study

A customer who has purchased contact adhesive from Ruscoe for decades approached us with an issue they were having with another aspect of their production. They required an adhesive that would bond stainless steel, have the heat-resistance to withstand powder coating, and remain flexible to absorb vibration.

Our developmental chemist was able to meet their needs with a 2-part epoxy that cures in 6-8 hours as opposed to 24 hours. This new technology allowed the customer to triple their production output. The Ruscoe version also presented a cost saving to them of approximately 35% lower than the product they were purchasing from overseas.
