High-Tack Mastic Adhesive (383)

This heavy mastic adhesive is a rubber-resin formulation in a special solvent formulation. High Tack mastic adhesive is pressure sensitive so that it has instant grab on practically all surfaces used in construction.

SUGGESTED USES
This quick-tack, construction-grade adhesive will bond many special building and construction materials including DuPont Tyvek® House wrap and polyethylene film to wood, steel, aluminum and concrete, or to one another. May be repositioned.

Bonding surfaces must be free of moisture, oils, dirt, and other contaminates. High Tack mastic may be applied by cartridge dispenser to a clean, dry surface; no thinning is required. Drying time is approximately 5 minutes for a surface skin, but adhesive bead remains tacky for about 14 days permitting easy repositioning as it will re-bond to itself. Fully cured within 14 days. Open time exceeds 30 minutes, with wide temperature application range from 20°F. to +100°F. Will also adhere to wet or frozen lumber.

Extremely flammable vapor; keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. The Ruscoe Company recommends storage in original, sealed container below 100°F.

Health and safety data sheets available upon request at The Ruscoe Company.
