11131 Clear PVC Pipe Jacket Adhesive
Ruscoe’s 11131 Clear PVC adhesive is designed to form a permanent bond between the PVC members of a pipe jacket after it is installed over pipe insulation. It is formulated to be low in volatile organic compounds and meets SCAQMD Rule 1168/316A regarding VOC emissions less than 510 g/L.
Ruscoe’s 11131 Clear PVC adhesive can be brushed on or applied with an applicator gun and forms a chemical bond between the PVC members. It takes an initial set in10 minutes with complete curing in 8-10 hours. This PVC glue can be used on 20 and 30 mil cut and curled jacketing and most PVC fitting covers where a totally sealed system is required, such as in the USDA market. It is recommended that Ruscoe’s Clear PVC adhesive be applied at temperatures above 40°F (4°C).
11131 Clear PVC adhesive is packaged in 16oz HDPE/Nylon barrier bottles and has a shelf life of 1 year after packaging. Store in original unopened containers at temperatures between 60°F and 80°F (15.6°C and 26.7°C) until use, away from direct sunlight, heat, sparks or other potential sources of ignition.
